This Privacy Policy describes how Focus on me SRL ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Focus on me mobile application ("the App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Romanian data protection law.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. What data we collect

We collect only the data necessary to provide the service.

Account data — when you register or sign in:

  • Email address
  • First name and last name (optional)
  • Profile photo (optional, if you choose to add one)
  • Authentication provider (email/password, Google, or Apple)

Usage data — to manage the free try-on limit:

  • Number of try-ons used per day
  • Number of bonus try-ons earned via rewarded ads

Favorites — products you save within the app.

Device and analytics data — collected automatically:

  • Device type and operating system
  • App usage events (screens visited, features used)
  • Crash reports and performance data

3. Your photos stay on your device

Photos you upload for try-on are never stored on our servers. They are sent directly to the AI model for processing and are immediately discarded after the result is generated. The generated images are saved locally on your device only. We have no access to your photos.

  • To create and manage your account
  • To provide the virtual try-on service
  • To enforce the daily try-on limit
  • To display relevant products from our affiliate catalog
  • To improve the App based on usage patterns
  • To send important service communications (e.g. account security)

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

5. Legal basis for processing (GDPR)

  • Contract performance — processing necessary to provide the service you requested (account management, try-on functionality)
  • Legitimate interests — analytics and crash reporting to improve the App
  • Consent — for optional features such as personalized ads via Google AdMob

6. Third-party services

We use the following third-party providers. Each has its own privacy policy.

  • Supabase — database and authentication. Data stored in EU region. Privacy policy →
  • Google AdMob — advertising. May collect device identifiers and usage data to serve ads. Privacy policy →
  • Awin — affiliate product catalog. We access their product feed; no user data is shared with Awin. Privacy policy →
  • RunPod / FASHN VTON — AI model processing. Photos are sent for processing and immediately discarded. No photos are stored.
  • Google Sign-In / Apple Sign-In — authentication only. We receive only your name and email.

7. Data retention

  • Account data is retained for as long as your account is active.
  • Daily usage counters are reset every 24 hours and older records are deleted automatically.
  • If you delete your account, all personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

8. Your rights under GDPR

As a resident of the European Union, you have the following rights:

  • Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Erasure — request deletion of your account and all associated data
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Withdraw consent — at any time, for consent-based processing

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@focusonme.com. We will respond within 30 days.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP) at dataprotection.ro.

9. Children's privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes via the App or by email. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
